Our vacation rental units will be closing end of September but available again mid January 2023
Our two cozy units in the cottage and a spacious two-bedroom loft apartment are fully self-contained with kitchens. They have bathrooms with shower, are dog friendly and fully winterized with in-floor or baseboard heating plus airtight wood stoves. Sit outside on your deck or patio and enjoy the tranquility of our location, or gather around the fire pit for a barbecue dinner in the summer. Kitchenware, bedding and towels are all supplied.
The cottage is a duplex with two rental units, each designed for two guests, with separate entrances, kitchens and bathrooms.
Unit #1 has a king bed with separate mattresses and separate bedding for each guest. This unit gets more sun and is therefore a little brighter than the rear unit.
Maximum occupancy is for two adults plus one younger child.
The two bedroom loft apartment is our family unit which can sleep up to five guests (max). It is located on the upper floor of our "utility" building above the garage and technical rooms. The two bedrooms have two and three single beds respectively, which can be pushed together or placed apart as needed, depending on group composition. Access is via an exterior staircase and elevated deck. The unit has a blue-ray player and screen but no TV reception. The apartment is about 850 sqft in size.

Self-catering units with kitchens
Our self-contained units are separate from the lodge and come without access to or meals in the lodge and no maid service (lodge facilities are reserved for guests staying in lodge rooms).
Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen with gas range / oven, microwave oven, fridge w. small freezer compartment, a bathroom with shower and the units are fully winterized.
There is no WiFi inside these units and no cell-phone coverage or TV.
We recommend the self-contained units for families with younger children so you do not have to work around meals in the lodge or worry about disturbing other guests.
Dogs (max 2 per unit) are welcome in these units on the condition that they are properly supervised at all times, not allowed on beds or furniture and not left in the units unattended. A flat charge of C$25 per dog / per stay is applied. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cats or other pets.
Picnic tables and a fire pit are available in the yard (subject to any fire bans). A propane BBQ is available for back-up.
There are minimal grocery and other shopping opportunities in the area so we recommend bringing along all your supplies. Our well water is excellent, so no need for bottled water.
Only persons registered and paid for are allowed on the premises. Any visitors must be approved by management. Damage deposits may be required.
Units are to be vacated in pre-cleaned condition and there may be a charge for significant extra cleaning, if required.
We also reserve the right to charge extra for: - damage to structures or contents resulting from gross negligence, - linen or towels soiled to a point where they have to be replaced (bleaching compounds, oily substances or paints), - breach of rental policies / terms (e.g. smoking indoors, un-registered pets or visitors), - activities / actions which will negatively impact the enjoyment of a rental unit for other guests or subsequent guests (including excessive noise, lingering odours from ethnic foods, fish, perfumes, which cannot be eliminated in a reasonable manner)
